Visit my NEW site and see some different photos presented differently.  It's a much slower site, due to the larger photos, but I hope you'll think it's worthwhile.  Let me know what you think.

Photography Sites

Phillip Greenspun -- This guy is a terrific photographer, but he's also a good writer and has some really wonderful articles on his site.  If you're interested in buying a camera, check out his site as soon as possible.

Digital Pics of Victoria, B.C.  -- A small site with some really stunning images of Victoria, B.C. taken with a Nikon 900 and manipulated.

Mythago -- Strange site with some really beautiful images.

Fine Art Image Transfer -- Fine art photography includes nudes, but there's a lot of information and good photos.

Craig Morey Fetish Photography -- Ok, don't ask me how I found this site, because I don't remember.  Don't go if you're easily offended.  However, be prepared for some really excellent b/w photography.  This guy is really good.

Glazer's Camera Store -- One of my favorite camera stores, and where I've bought some of my camera and computer equipment.  While you won't get any super bargains, you won't get ripped off either.  And they're the only people who carry my favorite Mitsubishi Dual Sided Matte paper regularly.  They are a complete camera store which has decided to go into the digital age.  They've got high level digital equipment.

Freestyle Sales Co. -- If you're into photography and want some inexpensive supplies, check out Freestyle Sales.  I've dealt with them since 1969 and have only been disappointed a couple of times (color paper that had a slight edge fog).  If you want cheap b/w paper and film, this is the place.

Great Scanning Site -- Got a new scanner and really want to know how to use it?  Really, really?  This site has all the information you'd ever want.  It's a lot of reading, but he'll sell the site as a book ($22.00 as I recall).

Epson Injet Printer Site -- this one is pretty much dedicated to Epson printers and film scanning.

Dean Collins -- ok, this is a commercial...  I've taken a number of Dean's seminars and found them to be very valuable.  He's an outstanding photographer and a real advocate of digital imaging.

Other Interesting Places to Check Out

Archie McPhee -- Ok, I don't even want to attempt to describe Archie McPhee's.  It's weird, strange, wonderful.  It's best if you can get to Seattle and poke around, the staff is wonderful and fits right into the place.  Their self-description is "Purveyor of Modern Culture."  Check it out yourself and see if they're right!

Powell's Books -- To hell with Barnes & Noble and Borders.  This is the best bookstore I've ever seen.  It's basically a square block of books, and their technical (computer and scientific books) bookstore is in a separate building a block away.  Altogether, I think they have over a million books.  New and used mixed together.  It's really the best.  And their on-line presence is well implemented and really easy to search for that obscure title you've always wanted.

Olympia Microcomputer Users Group -- I belong to OMUG and have moderated it's Digital Imaging Special Interest Group for about 4 years.  Check out the club's site and see what's happening.
