Zakk Wylde Signature Amplifier

Limited Edition 2203ZW Zak Wylde Amplifier

More info

Produced in a limited run of 600 units, the 2203ZW Zakk Wylde Signature Amplifier is an all-tube model patterned after the JCM800 2203 head.

Introduced at the 2002 Winter NAMM show, the Marshall 2203ZW is sure to turn heads. It features Zak's signature, a Wylde-designed front panel design, and a quartet of 6550 output tubes that produce a full 100 watts RMS of scorching Marshall tone.

Besides the 6550 output tubes, the amp features hand-wired, all-tube circuitry, vintage style grille cloth and carry handle, a wild front panel, and a small logo.

Zak Wylde, the guitar wizard in Ozzy Osbourne's band, as well as his own Black Label Society, has used Marshall amps for years to get his signature sound. He collaborated with Marshall to come up with special touches to make the 2203ZW unique, both sonically and visually.

For those who want a 4x12 cabinet to match, the grille cloth on the head matches that used on the 1960TV "tall vintage" cabinet. In fact, both the head and the cabinet grace the front cover of the May 2002 issue of Guitar Player magazine.

To complete the limited edition package, the lucky purchaser gets a deluxe user's manual, a bag of collectible Zakk Wylde guitar picks, a custom cover, and a certificate of authenticity.

The list price for the limited edition run of 600 amplifiers was $2250 USD.
