Andras Jones is a one man entertainment rebellion!

Since 1989 Andras has recorded and released 9 CD's (5 with his band, The Previous) and started an independent music "union" called The City Limits. The City Limits puts out his CD's and has helped many other artists book tours and put out their own CD's. He has also hosted Radio 8-Ball, a radio show on KAOS FM, and worked as a freelance journalist for several publications from Olympia to Boston.

Andras is best known as a journeyman songwriter and performer who, aside from putting out his own CD's and touring the continent solo and with his band, has written for and with many other writers and performers, most recently collaborating with Andy Dick, Willie Wisely, Lisa Jenio & The National Lampoon's, Andy Shmushkin.

Andras is also an accomplished actor who has played leading roles in several very popular cult films including, "Sorority Babes in The Slimeball Bowl-a-Rama", "A Nightmare on Elm Street 4" and "Far From Home" co-starring Drew Barrymore. His contributions to American cinema have included throwing acid in a young Viggo Mortensen's face in "Tripwire", being pistol whipped by Richard Grieco in "The Demolitionist", and making sweet love to Jennifer Jason-Leigh in Steven (Secretary) Shainberg's first film "The Prom". His latest role was the lead in the psychedelic horror film "The Attic Expeditions" with Seth Green.

One of Andras' favorite projects is radio8ball.com, a website based upon the radio show he hosted in Olympia in the late 90's. Please take a moment to read about it on the Radio8Ball page on this site and then visit the oracle yourself at www.radio8ball.com.

This site contains photos, news articles, film clips, music to listen to and to buy, and loads of historical data regarding the life and work of the man that The Boston Globe calls, "wonderfully pompous."

Asked what he's all about, the cantankerous Mr. Jones just responds, "You can call it what you like, but I call it messin' with the id."
